Why FMG Mexico
I've followed FMG Mexico for a while now, and I love what they're building — this year I'm excited to be more closely connected, helping dress athletes who want a suit built for the stage, not just a costume off a rack.
What drew me in is the ethos: divisions from 30s right through to 60+, built around the idea that transformation and performance don't have an expiry date. That's a philosophy I've believed in since I started SambaCouture — competition is about discipline and reinvention at any stage of life, not just the 20-somethings.
About the Event
FMG Mexico is hosted in Playa del Carmen, and for 2026 the event is expanding its 50+ divisions even further. It's more than a physique competition — it's a genuine destination event, presented by The Wonder Women, drawing athletes, coaches and judges from across the globe.

The event is presented by The Wonder Women, founded by Michelle MacDonald, whose mother — Joan MacDonald (@trainwithjoan) — has become a global symbol that competitive fitness has no age limit.
